Managed by Q is a platform for office management. Through our easy-to-use online dashboard, you can discover, book, manage, and pay for a wide range of services to keep your office space running smoothly. We connect you to the best local service provider for your needs from our network of vetted professionals, and provide a team of workplace experts to support you.

What types of services do you offer?

Q offers a wide range of office management services, including cleaning, maintenance, IT support, security, and workplace staffing. You can view the full list here. If you have a project in mind that’s not on our list, contact us and we’ll do our best to make it happen. We love a good challenge.

What is Managed by Q's service guarantee?

Managed by Q guarantees satisfaction for every order placed on our platform. We ensure our service providers are responsive, prompt, and deliver quality work at a fair price. If you are not satisfied with the quality of service, we’ll make it right. You can always reach out to our support team if you experience issues with an order or have any questions regarding the service you received.

Are there terms and conditions?

Yes,  you can file a claim for our service guarantee if you are dissatisfied with your service and it meets the following qualifications:

- You purchased the service fully through Managed by Q

- The scope of work in your claim was approved by a member of your office team on our platform

- The service occurred within the past 90 days

Do some claims not qualify for the service guarantee?

Sometimes, but we still want to know if you’re unhappy with service! Situations where a claim may not qualify for Managed by Q’s service guarantee include:

- There is an issue due to a service provider not from Q’s platform

- Part of the transaction is not billed through Q

- The service was never performed

- There is a problem with the infrastructure of your office space

- Work exceeded the scope you approved

- Nobody was there when the work was performed

- There is no documentation of the issue

- A piece of material or hardware not provided by our service professional is broken or defective

Who are Q’s service providers?

Our service providers are local trade professionals who offer specialized commercial services. We carefully vet and select each provider to ensure they have the proper insurance, licensing, and a history of customer satisfaction. We continue to evaluate our providers based on their pricing, quality of service, and business practices to ensure we're connecting our clients with only the best service professionals in the community. You can learn more about each service provider through their profiles in the Q Dashboard, and through reviews from other Q users.

What if I like my current service providers, but want to use Q?

We’re always looking for the best service providers to join Q. If you have a business you’d like to work with through our platform, you can direct them to our Partner application page. If you know of a great individual you’d like to refer to Q Services, our first-party cleaning and maintenance provider, you can direct them to the Careers page

Are you insured?

Absolutely. Our service providers carry insurance that covers them in any commercial space in the United States. If you have access to the COI (Certificate of Insurance) template from your building, you can provide this to our service providers who will complete the required insurance documentation.

How do I become a Partner or Q Services Operator?

If you’re interested in joining our network of service providers, you can apply through our Partner website. If you’d like to become a cleaning or maintenance Operator for Q Services, you can apply through our Careers page

Your building

What if my building offers services but I want to use Q?

In many cases, tenants have a choice of which service providers they use, although property managers and landlords may not advertise it. 


If you work in an office where you’re required to use building services or your lease requires it, Q can provide supplemental services, as well as dozens of other office services your building doesn’t provide. Some examples include pest management, temporary staffing, event assistance, plant care, and more.


If you’re interested in working with Q, our team can work with your building to get everything set up.We have professionals on our staff who can analyze your lease so you'll know what your building provides, what they mandate you provide, and where you can choose your own providers. This is free of charge and we can get the lease analysis back to you in just a few days.

I need a Certificate of Insurance. How do I get that?

No problem. If your building management needs a Certificate of Insurance (COI), just provide us with a sample and we’ll take care of it from there. 

For services provided outside of business hours, how do you access my office?

If a Q service provider needs to access your space when your office is closed, they will coordinate with you directly to ensure a safe and secure entry.

If Q Services Operators need to access your space on a recurring basis outside of business hours, they'll ask for at least three sets of keys. One set will be provided to each of the Operators assigned to your office, one will stay with your account Supervisor who checks in on your Operators for quality assurance, and one pair is stored at our city office in case of emergency.

Pricing

How much does Q cost?

Access to the Q platform is free—there are no subscription fees or membership costs. We just ask that you have a credit card on file to sign up—you won't be charged until after your service has been completed.


Once you’re signed up, you can order the services that make the most sense for your office. Our office management experts will work with you to find the best solution based on your office needs and budget. Our pricing is transparent, so you’ll know exactly what you’re paying for before we begin service. 

Are there service minimums?

That depends on the service. Some services have hourly minimums, while others do not. Any minimums will be shared upfront when discussing your request, so you can make an informed decision. You will also be able to see detailed pricing information when you view each quote.

Are there contracts for any of your services?

Normally, no. You’re welcome to use our ongoing or individual services for as long as they suit your office needs. We only ask that you give us 30 days notice if you need to pause or stop a recurring service. Feel free to read more about this in our Terms and Conditions.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept both credit card and ACH payment—whichever you prefer.

Getting started

How do I get started?

Just click the Get Started button on our homepage. Follow the prompts to create your free account and you’ll be able to search and request services from your new dashboard. One of our office management experts will reach out to determine what makes the most sense for your office needs and help you get setup on the Q Dashboard.

Do you need to see my office before I sign up?

Nope! While some projects will require a walkthrough of your space to better scope out the work and provide a quote, we rely on data we've collected from offices across the country for most services. This helps us determine what we need to make running your space as efficient as possible.

What should I expect after signup?

Once you sign up, you’ll get access to your Q Dashboard—your one-stop-shop for all your office management needs. From here, you can find and book services, leave feedback, contact your dedicated support team, and more! 


When you request a service, one of our office specialists may set up an onboarding call to help you select the best service provider for your office. If you request an ongoing service, our service providers may require a walkthrough of your space to provide a quote.
